Seeds wants to empower you to practice on your own. You do not have to be a Virtual Classroom student to uses these digital resources — they are for everyone!
Whether you’re at your local library, or on your computer at home, you have access to the very same resources as when you’re working in a Seeds computer lab.
Please note, some of these links will require you to log in. Have your user names and passwords handy.

Khan Academy YouTube video math lectures that cover all levels of GED mathematics. If you are new to Khan Academy, you will have to create a free account.
- Get started here:
- (1) Click “Learner”
- (2) Enter your date of birth
- (3) click “Sign Up with Email”.
- (4) Enter your email and create a password that you will remember. Write it down if you have to.

ReadWorks A site that allows you to practice reading passages. This type of practice helps you read faster and understand better. The audio will help you with new words. ReadWorks passages also include science and social studies. First time users need to create a new account.
- Fill out the New Account form with your details.
- An email will be immediately sent to your email address.
- Read your email, and click on the web link it contains.
- Your account will be confirmed and you will be logged in.
- Now, select the course you want to participate in.
- If you are prompted for an “enrollment key” – use the one that your teacher has given you. This will “enroll” you in the course.
- You can now access the full course. From now on you will only need to enter your personal username and password (in the form on this page) to log in and access any course you have enrolled in.
To log in: Use this link: https://www.readworks.org/student-authentication. Enter the class code from your email. Find your name Enter 1234 for the password
