Volunteer Students and Tutors fill out Registration and Application Forms respectively when they sign up to be a part of the program. To ensure your success with us, we will contact you regularly by email, phone, and text, unless you tell us otherwise. Donors will be added to our mailings lists as well, unless we are otherwise notified at donations@seedsofliteracy.org.
In short, having accurate contact information is essential for effective communication, emergency response, coordination of activities, feedback collection, accountability, and community building within the program. We will never sell your information.

- WHAT WE COLLECT: We may collect personal information, such as your name, contact information, and demographic details, when you voluntarily provide them through forms on our website, communication channels, or in-person events.

Information provided to funders is given in the form of statistics, without any name or identifying information attached. For example: “87% of our students live below the poverty level” OR “15% of our students live out of state”. Providing this type of data to funders ensures that the Seeds of Literacy program remains free for students.

- WHAT WE COLLECT: Like most websites, we collect non-personal information, such as browser type, device information, and website usage data, through cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website.
- HOW WE USE IT: Non-personal information is used to analyze trends, administer our website, and improve user experience. This information is not linked to any personally identifiable information.

We will never sell your information, nor will we share it without your consent with the exception of:
- Service Providers: We won’t share sell or rent your personal information with any third party.
- Legal Compliance: when required by law or in response to a valid legal request.

If you are a student or tutor, this option is not advised as we will then be unable to provide you with critical program updates.
